Activity 04: 'How stuff works'

Hi again!

Now I have to choose an article and answer a few questions.

Article selected: "10 of the biggest lies in history"

1. Why did I choose this article?
Because is interesting to know which are the biggest lies in history since ancient greek until our days. I'm still reading it, but I thing that's so interesting.

2. Did you find some information in the article?
Well... It's a smalll amount of information, but is not that what makes the article interesting, the small amount of information about one of the issues mentioned in the article invites the user to learn more in others sourses, like books, or maybe Wikipedia (for people who wants to know just a bit more about the topic).

3. What was the most interesting thing you learned about it?
About a guy who wanted to buy a Vermer's false painting, and copied very very well the painting in 20th Century.

I'll keep writing this later.

Activity 01: 'A laptop and a desk'

Hello, people. Now I will talk about how to get a good laptop and a desk with a budget of $1000.

First step: the laptop

You can't get a desk for a laptop without get the laptop first (oh my god, this is too obvious, but well... it doesn't matter). We have... $800, we won't get a mega computer to play games with a very good graphics requirements like Battlefield 4... But we can buy a laptop to work at university, play Candy Crush to kill time whern you're bored, and also see movies and stuff alike.

I chose a mid rate computer wich I'd probably buy with all that money: a Sony VAIO. Why this laptop?, because my second laptop was a Sony VAIO and I've never had problems with that computer... until I stupidly hit my own computer, when I was picking up a paper from the floor, and fell off from my desk... (I'm so clumbsy...). It cost $799.00, not bad.

You can see it for your own here.

We have $201.00 to spend now.

Second step: The desk

Well... I found something amazing at web: "Dorel Home Furnishings Princeton White L Desk for Home Office". Is cute, loos comfortable and cost $187.67. Not bad for a desk wich normally cost $227.99.

You can see ithere.

See you in activity 04!

My favorite piece of technology: The computer

Hello, today I'll write about my favorite piece of techonology: The computer. Why a computer?, because you can work and have fun there without wasting a lot of money. They're not so expensive, except if you want an advanced computer; for example, to play a powerfull videogame which needs a good graphic cards or a great bunch of memory to properly run it, or to have more applications in Office (a program which makes the work easier to people who have to constantly being archiving their work's stuff) the user has to pay more money than a guy who wants a 'basic' pack.

I really like computers, I won't say that I love them because I can love my mother, my dog (even if he died a couple years ago...) or the rest of my family; but not a machine. Ok... I'd keep talking about how much I like computers, but, as my father always says (Originally in english!) 'Is time to say goodbye'.

Have a nice weekend.

Hello again, I hope you've enjoyed the last post about a few things about me. Now I'm going to tell you, guys, how is going this term at university.

I'm not doing all subjects, I couldn't take all because I didn't pass all. Luckily, I went to spoke to career's chief and she allowed to take some subjects of this semester besides the asignatures I didn't approve in 2013. I'm took a lot of interesting subjects this semester.'Restoration' is one of them. It is really amazing, we're going to restore some artworks and crafts in class. I took a CFG (Curso de Formación General/Course of General Formation) at university's gym. I'm having fun in that class because a couple years ago I was practicing aikido at a paid gym, but I've to stop going because my family was out of money.

Well... That's all

Thanks for reading.
