Films

Hi, how have you been, guys? This time I'll talk about which kind of films I like or dislike.

Well... In first place, I think that I do not dislike any genre in particular, I can bear even bizarre stuff in movies. But well... If I have to choose, I'd say that I don't like movies without romance, I don't care if it is a weird romance, but I like romance. With romance I'm not saying "strawberry romance", nah... is not that; with "romance" I mean building human relationships through the film. Except in case that the movie wants to criticize this condition of "love" between characters creating something completely illogical. But is not a huge problem if the movie does not has some love scenes, as I said at the beginning, I can watch everything. Well... besides I do not like so much the adaptations of books and TV series; I think that essence changes so much. For example, I do not like Pete Jackson's version of Tolkien's book "The Lord of the Rings", because he drastically manipulated the order of original story, and eliminated characters as he pleased. It is not a bad movie if you only watch movies, but for someone who read is terrible.

At the other side, I like many type of movies. I like a lot of animated movies from Studio Ghibli, because I does not matter how old are you, everyone can watch and enjoy this kind of films. I also like to watch, if my mood is odd and I don't want to do anything, movies without sense. And... I like action movies and Disney movies.

That's all.

My Favourite photograph

My favourite photograph is about my favourite pet in the whole world: my dog Pongo.

Pongo died two years ago and when I see this picture I renember our good times. My dog arrived to my life when I was 8 years old (now I'm 23) and even if his hair was completely black, for me he represents light. This picture was taken for me on his last day, he died 13 years old after he came home for the first time. We picked up him at the entrance of a church next to my family's home, and it was love at first sight; he was running in circles, surrounding me and my family, so I wanted to take him home.

He was a good friend, and I like this picture because I see his tired eyes, his rigid legs, his body laid on the concret and I'm glad that he could finally rest in peace as he deserved... I see this picture and I become completly nostalgic, I can't bear the pain, but it was the best in his condition... Death.

R. I. P., Pongo... I still love you.
See you next time, guys.

Gabriel García Márquez

Today I'll talk about Gabriel García Márquez. In first place, I don't have the right of a deeply talk about this writer because I barely know him. I read some books of him at school, but I've never read "Cien años de soledad". His style is special, but not my genre. Well... I renember two books of him, and both produced me different reactions; "La increíble y triste historia de Cándida Eréndira y su abuela desalmada" was a good book for me, a bit depressing and with a world that was strange to me because since I was young I used to read fantasy novels and not stories with magic realism, but quite good; the other was "Crónicas de una muerte anunciada", this was boring to me, but I don't renember exactly the reason. Maybe if I read his novels again (I'm older and more mature for this kind of books) I'll find something new.

And that's all. I wasn't ready for his books, but maybe I should read his work again.
